Evaluation Question 3 Pt. 3

When creating a music video you will need consistent audience feedback to make sure that your production is at its best standard and looks very professional. This was also to make sure that I follow the conventions of a R&B music video. I received audience feedback from people within my school from social media. This was because it would be easy to show them my music video as they all have access YouTube. As you can see from my audience feedback, after these people watched my music video they gave their opinions on WhatsApp. From my audience feedback I learned that I had to definitely improve on the artist miming skills because at some points of the music video you wouldn’t be able to see that he is singing the song and that he wasn’t in sync with the actual music. Another thing I learned from my audience feedback is that when filming with my artist again it will be best for him to do confidence building sessions so he seems much more in to it and is more willing to act confidently, as some people reported him as coming across as shy during the video clips they have seen. With all this feedback I received I was able to correct the final pieces of my music video and make sure everything is in sync and Hakim was to act more confidently when playing his role in the music video.

Evaluation 3 Part 1

Evaluation Question 3 - Part 1 "What Have You Learned From Audience Feedback" From the Audience Feedback I received from these two people I learnt that the bright colour allowed my album cover to stick out among others and that I shouldn't of over used dark colour because it would make my work look dull instead of bringing it out. I have also learned from Hannah's feedback that she would've preferred a more brighter colour scheme of the tittle to be more gold than yellow as it would've looked better. I learned from my digipak that I would have to add a more professional photo due to the fact that the image had some editing issues which was easily detectable by the audience

Flat Plan For Digi-Pak

I have decided on a flat plan like this because from looking at existing products I believe that this one is a favourite. Also I know that my target audience will prefer to have several photos of their artist as they enjoy pictures. I also haven't added a lot of text due to the fact that I believe it would be more effective not to as I am trying to appeal to an audience of teenagers who prefer to look at stuff than actually read them.

Colour Scheme feedback

Survey Creator I asked all members of my media class to participate in an anonymous questionnaire in order to get their onions and from this survey around 75% of the 20 people that answered agree that the colour scheme was good and that it suited the look for an album that I am going for.

Lyric Analysis

As you can see I have analysed each line of the song Deuces. I have done this so that you are aware that I understand what 3each line stands for and means. This also helps give me an insight as to what I need/should include in the music video.

Song Selection and Feedback

Here is a list of Songs that i chose for the Music Video, all of these songs are R&B and i liked them because they are recent however our teacher advised that it wasn't smart to use them as they were to current but the beat for all of the song were similar which meant that no matter what son was chosen we could still do the same or similar ideas that we proposed for each. Overall my group thought that deuces was the best song because it was the only one that we all knew off by heart and it was very relatable to the young people that are in my target audience specifically the females. Song Feedback Elliott : I don’t tend to listen to this type of music due to the fact on that its very romantic as it seems more feminine and that not my style however I enjoy the chorus as it is relatable. Samantha: I love Chris Brown I was very excited to hear this song when it came out and from now its still one of my favourites Mya: I dislike Chris brown due to what he has done to the music industry of R&B Aj: when I was young I listened r&b and I believe Chris brown is quite a influential artist I really enjoy his music. Tristan: I dislike r&b however there are a few songs I like and Chris brown, deuces is one of them, as it appeals to me personally.

Colour Scheme

The colour scheme i have gone for was Black, navy and white. i have chosen these colours because they are masculine and manly. the colours will stand out nicely with the colour of Hakims skin and it will complement him as well as his dress sense. the following colours all stand for something for example Black, this represents evil, past, darkness and elegance. these can all link to the type of R&B album i'm trying to create. Navy represents integrity and seriousness , this is Hakim throughout his album declaring his integrity and being serious about the fact that he wants to leave the relationship with Leloo. White, shows the future , the purity this means he is moving on and looking to the excitement that the future brings.
